PH-1
First public hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance establishing a temporary interim planning period and moratorium on the submission and acceptance of applications related to large-scale data centers. The Board reviewed the proposed ordinance, directed staff on changes, and will hold the 2nd public hearing to consider the approval of the proposed ordinance at the October 27 board meeting

PHQJ -1
Request for certification of an agricultural enclave pursuant to FL Statues.

FL Statute outlines the process for a property owner to request that property be certified as an agricultural enclave and the criteria for defining what qualifies as an agricultural enclave.

This is the second request by Kanner/96th Street Investments, LLC for certification. The board denied the request for certification.

FL Inland Navigational District (FIND)
Board authorized the Chair to execute an Interlocal Agreement between FIND and Martin County for the removal of 98,442 cubic yards of Crossroads material from the St. Lucie Inlet Impoundment Basin.

County Line Bridge
Martin County is replacing the SE County Line Bridge, originally built in 1974 to improve safety, access, and stormwater management for the surrounding community. The new structure is expected to have a longer life span, meeting or exceeding 75 years, as it will be constructed with corrosion-inhibiting materials and raised in elevation to become more resilient towards rising sea levels.

The 200-foot portion of the bridge between SE Girl Scout Camp Road and SE Island Drive will close completely beginning Tuesday, October 20, with construction expected to be in October 2027.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians should plan for the following traffic impacts:

Full bridge closure: Beginning October 20 and continuing through construction.
Traffic control: Maintenance of traffic measures and detour signage was installed October 6.
Plan ahead: Motorists should follow posted detour routes and allow additional travel time.
